I also thought the shoulder on the CM is sharper which reduces brass flow. Were I to build one it would be an AI so that's a moot point as well.
All in all, I'm happy with the little 240 and hope to test its capabilities on some late season hunts.

Agreed. I have zero use for anything Creedmore unless it was made in the 1800's.

I've got one that I picked up in the Accuguard model, Cabelas run with fluted barrel and sub-moa blah blah blah, was on the clearance rack and I couldn't pass on it. Zeiss 3-15 sits on her and she is a pure joy to shoot.....Wicked accurate too. I've been shoot the 100gr NP Weatherby ammo and have been impressed on accuracy as well as bullet performance.

Used the weatherby silver box last night. Did good shot a good boar at 210 yards high shoulder and dropped him. No tracking. Hit another one at about 300-315 yards felt the shot was good but aimed for the heart. Had really dark blood so maybe i him back a little. Tracked blood for about 100 yards into some really thick crap and just left him in there.

Fantastic! I actually got it in a trade here off tbh. It has an aftermarket trigger in it. The hard part for me was getting used to how light the rifle was and how thin the stock feels. Its obviously by design. But after i got comfortable it will shoot 3/4" or better all day. Im very interested in trying some other loads that they offer. Like the 80 gr barnes!

I know this is ancient however the topic fits so bringing it back up. I have a .240 that is my primary and when the run on ammo happened after the election I was almost out but found 8 boxes of fresh brass on ebay so need to have them loaded. A few of you mention sending brass off; do you have recommendations for this?
I have friends with loaders but I'd still have to pay for dies and supplies, I just don't want to put friends out to load something they don't normally do. I have bought reloads from Hendershots but he won't load brass I send him, even if it is new. Love his loads and have everything from 58 to 100 grain but $75 a box is a little steep.
