I'm talking terrorist, zombie, natural disaster ect. with people getting desperate. No doubt the .22 fans can carry Ammo, and protect themselves plus family. But I'm going bigger. Thought about my 25-06 Sendero for long range but don't really want to tote that thing. So I would go AR and all the mags I can carry. Good chance of finding more ammo and simple enough to clean. Also plenty of range and knock down for my hunting adventures that will take place in south tx. While the world is Falling apart and looking the other way haha

I would probably grab my Ruger 22lr in the AR platform. Acurate to 100yds, have plenty of 30 + rd mags and could carry plenty of ammo. Would give wife the 12 ga with extended mag on it, holds 12 rounds.

Being able to carry 10,000 rounds is great but if they're not very effective in stopping two legged animals, what good is all that ammo?

Probably a 10/22.
If I ever were to run out, the ammo is everywhere. And you can carry a but load of ammo without exhausting yourself.
Literally. I've found .22 LR rounds in parking lots, gun ranges under benches, I've even found them walking thru open fields before.

They're small, compact, lightweight and tuff as nails! They'll chew up and spit out any type of ammo you can throw at them. They're pretty quiet. And anyone can use it!


My #2 pick would be an AR-15
Same reasons above, it just looses by a slight margin when it comes to how quiet it is and how much ammo you can haul with you.

I'd take my black rifle and my 700 in 223 suppressed at the minimum. The wife can carry the bolt gun. Pistols don't count I always have at least one

For the love of God, please don't suggest that he is Christian or possibly a person to like/emulate! He is a Shia Muslim extremist who would just as happily fight Americans again (formerly part of Sadr's Mahdi Army) than ISIL!
