If you could only grab one gun

I'd probably have to grab a 39M Marlin .22 with a Leupold 2.5X.

I have one with a 3x9x40 scope on it and would definitely take it as my one gun

300BO (now an SBR w/suppressor) for me and TAR-21 IDF model for the wife. Both are plenty effective against 2 and 4 legged game.

One gun would be tough as I have big hands, but me being me I would probably grab the trusty 22. I am positive that had the Texicans had a couple 22's at the Alamo there would have been a different or at least a more prolonged outcome.
As I am one of a family of 4, with 2 of us being very good shooters the list of weapons out the door would probably look something like this.
Me 22 because I know what I can and have done with one
Son= 308 or 30.06 He is very good with either
Daughter= 308 or 22-250
Wife= 12ga because she will let them be close before she squeezes off.

But I never have only 1 no matter where Im at. A takedown 10/22 with a rds and a couple bricks in the backpack would be a nice backup

Ammo and parts will be everywhere. With it I'll take whatever/whoever I need. Guns, Ammo, food, water woman and good looking children (it might last a while...)
