    Millett 1-4X

I've got this scope that I move around from gun to gun. Going to get the 1-6 version for the 556 AR pretty soon. Love it. Does a pretty good job in low light when at 1x. At 1x, throw it up and shoot just like using a dot.

Well, my patience/indecision paid off. I have a Strike Eagle with Vortex mount on the way! Thanks for the thoughts and humor. I'll post back with a review!

My Strike Eagle showed up last night (a day earlier than the tracking suggested)! I ordered through Arrowsmith, and the transaction was seamless. I had inquired with him about the scope a while back when they were backordered. He contacted me Sunday to let me know he had some in stock, offered a great price on the scope and mount, and I had it in-hand Thursday!

Out of the box, I was impressed by the sturdiness (not heaviness) of the scope. The illumination switch and turret caps are well-placed and big enough for my fumbly fingers. The Vortex mount is simple, and should serve its intended purpose.

I can't wait to sight this thing in. The glass is nice and clear, and the reticle is easy to see and understand. The 11 levels (yes, it goes up to 11) of illumination will be useful for low-light hunting and quick acquisition shot situations.

Thanks again to Mike for his help with this purchase!

I moved it around, and that worked the best for my shooting style. I was thinking it looked a bit far back, and it does make cycling the charging handle a bit of a challenge.

I'll see how it goes at the range.

                Good looking rifle !!!

I'm sorry it took so long. I have been waiting on the Strike Eagles (like most Vortex dealers) to come in for quite awhile.

Thank You for Your Business !!!
