I shot 130 grain core loks for many years. I couple years ago I tried the Federal Fusion 130 grain and really liked them. Only problem is that they can be a little harder to find at times, whereas core loks are everywhere.

For several years now. Used fed blue box previously with good results also.

These. My .270 loves the fusion's and it's dropped everything on the spot.

I just bought one and will be reloading 140 Accubonds and 150 Bergers. The factory ammo will be more expensive but I would still recommend Barnes Vortex for you if you don't reload. that 130 barnes will be going about 3300 or so out of a 270wsm.

Before I started reloading, I shot nothing but cor-lokt but since then, I either shoot partitions or SGK. Tried the nosler ballistic tipped hunting bullets but after shooting a doe at 75 yds and having the bullet lodge under the far shoulder (she ran 20 yds or so with minimal blood trail), I quit using them. I've had them run with the partitions and the SGKs but they left a blood bath rather than a blood trail!

The cor-lokt always dropped them in their tracks or if they ran, tracking them wasn't a problem! Heck I'd probably load them now if I could find the bullets!

All the bullets where 150 gr

I shoot both Remington cor-lokt and Winchester power point in 150 and 130 grn.
