I have used 130 gr Corelokts and Fusion and prefer the Fusion. I grabbed a couple of boxes of the Ted Nugent with the 130 gr Barnes TTSX bullet on clearance and I'm looking forward to see how those perform.

The .270 was designed for the 130 grain bullet, and shoots it very fast and flat. Dial in to 200 yrds with 130gr bullet and you will be about an 1 1/2 inch high at 100 and dead on at 200, 7" low at 300. Rem Core Lokts have done me well on WT, Hogs, Axis, and Sika.

Anything your rifle likes. Its always more expensive if you have to shoot twice because you can't hit the broad side of a barn.

I shoot 150 gr Winchester Power Points and they are both deadly and inexpensive.

I guess I should have mentioned, this is a 270 short mag if that makes a difference for those if you that shoot

Its completely different ballistics, but I've heard nothing but good things about it

Used some 130gr core lokt on my deer this past season, knocked him down in his tracks and left a good 1 1/2 to 2 inch exit.

Ya, that changes things a bit... I have no experience with the short mag...
