Actually the membership isn't much. Maybe I should buy more Glocks...
After all, I also want a Glock 10mm.
Mine I think the first year individual membership is about $70.
Beside the discount on guns, there are several pistol matches that you can attend. I keep saying that I'm going to take part in one but it hasn't happened yet.
I expect that to be the normal price for the first year or so.
GT distributors in both Austin and Dallas are selling them to the public for 449+ tax. If you happen to be a GSSF member they are $380 plus tax. But they are extremely backordered at this time. If you just have to have one right now be prepared to overpay for it.
So as a person who does not own a Glock yet, what is the difference in the this and a double stack 9? Is it the compact version of the 26 (I think that is the smaller concealable 9mm) that would be thinner and not so heavy?
I do plan on owning a Glock just haven't gotten around to affording one just yet. Anyone I know who does own them says you can't go wrong with a Glock.

The g43 is a single stack 9mm. The g26 is a double stack 9mm.
Guess they couldn't stand the popularity of the Smith Shield and are ready to take that market share back. Now if they made it in a .45 I would seriously consider one. Other than that I don't believe it can be any better weapon than my Shield.
