      I wish... If I had a scope sponsor my safe would be full... Imagine all the rifles I could buy if I didn't have to spend the equivalent or 2x the amount of the gun on optics.

      On that same line of thinking... Tell me if this seems reasonable? Spend 5-800 on a gun and top it with glass that cost 150? adding fire to the flame here but if you're ready to throw the money down on a nice firearm pony up the cash so it can reach its potential.

      Before I blew my rathole on another suppressor and an SBR I was about to drop some coin on a LR build... Big money. And in that case I would have had to step up into the big boy $2k+ glass... Instead I'm looking for something to top a couple shorty uppers at less than half that a piece. I'll probably jump into a couple more leupold AR scopes. It's all relative.

              On my LR build, I'm gonna start with some *meh* glass, then jump to something like a Nightforce, and if I can get it where I'm really happy with the rifle, then I may jump into a Tangent-Theta....

              Although if I get a Tangent-Theta, then I will have to say, "Eh" Every time I shoot it, and "Sorry" Every time I shoot a critter...

                Are you wanting to buy a tangent theta for the name or the quality?

                  I've heard very good things about them, I'm wanting them for the quality. If I was to buy something for the name alone, I would go with the Schmidt, because EVERYONE has heard of Schmidt and Bender.

                    TT is pretty new. They bought premier. I'm sure you know that. I think for the money you can do the same with less. But I'd rock one if I was filthy rich

                      I have them catagorized with USO, S&B, the Nightforce BEAST series and Premier... In that it will take many moons to save the pennies necessary to buy them. I just have heard great things about them, and if I'm going to save the necessary dough to buy a scope like that, I will get the one I want, even if it means waiting a little longer.

                        Nikon=redneck long range prob going to miss a few and hit a few.

                        Swarovski=bad A binoculars!! They also have scopes for rich Guys that don't know what to get, so they get a matching set.

                        Zeiss= good glass? That's about it.

                        Leopold= Coca Cola tried and true 3x9 on a 270win (they are way behind in the long range arena) do they have zero stops yet?

                        Vortex= Viper HS LR features get job done, but glass just not as good until you get to PST (good value) the razor HD is prob the best glass I have ever seen.

                        Huskamaw= bad A

                        Nightforce= bad A (expensive)

                        US Optics= bad A (more expensive)

                        Schmit and bender= bad A (most expensive)

                            For a moment I thought your "Bad A" roughly meant A-.... and I was like wat?

                            Also, never heard of Huskamaw.... Need to do some looking...

                              Man, don't get me wrong. I love leupolds. They are what I have always had. I wish they had what I am looking for. I actually called leupold and asked for these things. Zero stops should be easy for them. I also like to have turret caps at least on the windage for hunting. Especially getting in out truck, four wheeler and deer stand. The models they do have turret caps on long range set ups stick out a mile. The Huskamaw feels the closest to a leupold to me, and has all the features. The patented wind solution on their custom turrets is also nice, so you don't have to carry around a cheat sheet on drop data or wind data.. I sold my leu's and stuck a Huskamaw 3-12 on my 270 and 6.5x284 and it have a 5-20 on my 300wm.
