How hard is it to attach a barrel to a stripped upper?

That all depends on what rail and barrel nut assembly you will be using. I'm very partial to the Noveske and Wilson Combat TRIM rails, because I like the way they are designed... Although, they are all pretty simple to install.

That is all I did. Mine have all turned out great. I have all the tools as well as go and no go gauges for 5.56/Wylde, 300 BO, and 6.8...

The Noveske SBR I'm going to order will be my first factory purchase other than the LaRue I've been waiting on for a year now.

Lufkin is 200 miles from where I live, but I will be happy to help if you need it.

To do it right you will need a barrel nut wrench and a torque wrench.

Are the carbine systems less reliable than the mid length in your experience? Thats kinda wat I was getting from reading other places

Not necessarily. They will have a different recoil impulse.

Does that mean the carbine will have a snappier recoil?.....I plan on teachin my 6 year old daughter on this gun bc the light .223 recoil and the adjustable stock

Also if I buy an upper with a m4 style front post on it and decide later I want flip up sights could I just take off the m4 post and put on a low profile gas block??
Tons of questions I know and thanks for the help!
