Im wanting to do it up in mostly all FDE .....how much luck have yall had with the different parts matching in color?
Trying to figure out if I need to by all the parts in FDE already or just put it together black and have it cerakoted by Ike.

Do you mean you want your lower receiver, upper receiver and barrel FDE? If so, go ceracoted.

If you mean just the stock, grip, and hand guards FDE, unless you go with the same manufacture (Magpul) there is going to be some color differences. I have a B5 stock, a BCM grip and Troy BUIS all in FDE on one rifle. None of them match exactly.

Yes sir I dont want the barrel to be FDE but I do want the flash hider done and the grip,both receivers, and buttstock with black pins and controls and sights....kinda like this

Ceracote has a color called "Magpul FDE" that matches very well. I just sent Ike a trigger guard and knife to be sprayed in Magpul FDE and I'm very happy with the results and service.

Thanks alot and I agree Ike does good work i just cant decide if i need to send him the whole gun so it matches or just buy the parts in fde and let him do the receivers.....im picky so itll prolly be best to just let him do it all
