Just a quick note for the nay-sayers...
Sunday morning my 6 year old son shot a doe with his new 22-250, a Browning Micro-Midas. She was quartering towards us. His shot entered about in the middle of her shoulder, got both lungs, top of the heart, demolished the liver, a little gut, and exited about mid rib on the far side. She ran about 40 yards and died. Ammo was Remington 55 gr PSP. This is VERY typical performance from a 22-250. I've seen it A LOT on both does and bucks. It is definitely not just a "shoot them in the head or neck" caliber.
He was cold and didn't want to take pics. We did take pics on Friday of his FIRST buck, but that will be in another thread.
