X... Leaving me with x huh. Well allow me to retort.

Xystus... Derived from the greek word xustos... Meaning "smooth" referring to the floor of a xystus (covered patio).

Not to be confused with Xystum... Which in architecture could be many things.. Including a wall... Which is what you would be banging your head against had i left you with "X" However, i rolled through it quite smoothly.

Now Y don't you boys just paypal me your tuition... because you've just been schooled... As for me I'm gonna catch some Z's as I've had 1 or 5 too many tonight.

          Lol.

One of you guys with a tikka can you post up a pic of the underside of the receiver (the part you would bed into the stock)

Im curious what they look like.

Coach let me try to explain the best I can, the part that is attached to the receiver on most rifles is not attached to the receiver on this gun it is basically bedded in the stock(it resembles apiece of steel that measures about 1.5x1.5x1/4 not exact) there is a slot machined in the bottom of the receiver that it fits into. if I didn't get all the part names correct I am sorry.

              Googled it... Hmmm

Looks like it has a tang... And a recoil lug... Definitely beddable. Just the bottom metal is different.
