I've heard only good reviews about them but didnt know they had an adjustable trigger... Does it adjust Sear engagement? Over travel? Pull weight?... May have to read into this a bit more.

Edit: seems trigger is only adjustable for pull weight down to 2lbs... With a spring swap it will drop down into -2 lb range..

          And I found this: http://www.tikka.fi/t3models.php?sporter

Tikka t3 sporter.... Sounds like a perfect platform for my next rifle.. Muzzle prethreaded... Maybe a 308. ?.. If they weren't 1500 bucks. That's a big leap of faith...

I turned mine down as far as it would go. It breaks cleanly with no creep. I really wouldn't want it to have a lighter pull than that in a hunting rifle.

My 7 mag is a tack driver. From a bench rest, it will shoot groups at 200 yards you can cover with a penny.

              They are great rifles.

Well I hope I got a Tack driver. I found a T3 lite Stainless in 25 06 I just finished mounting the Scope on it I will try to go to the range in the morning. I bought some Rem core lokt 120 grain and a box of 117 Federal premium Sierra Gameking BTSP to try.

I have a Remington 700 that shoots that Federal round very well.

I don't know how different the sporters are but it might be the same action and barrel combo with a competition stock. I have three Tikkas all tack drivers, I ended up buying a sako as well because I liked the tikkas they build. The only difference I have found is you can unload the sako with the safety on. Tikkas bolts are locked with the safty on. In my opinion unless your after nicer finishes the t3 is the way to go.

Bought it at Gander Mountain in Hattiesburg Ms it was about an hour drive from my house I could have probably ordered one cheaper It was on sale for $699, but after attempting to fill out paper work on the computer twice and then a hard copy twice because of network problems the Manager nocked of another 30 dollars. I also put a 4x12x50 Swarovski.

That's going to be an animal killer, especially with that scope, tikka actions are so smooth!

To say that I am pleased with my new Tikka is an understatement. After getting tuned in with a few shots I moved to 100yds still with a pretty warm barrel I shot a total of 6 shots 2 different ammos and had an easy under 1 in MOA.I am pleased But I am going to put a limb saver recoil pad on it, recoil wasn't bad but the limb saver will help out.
