    Tikka T3 Hunter

I am looking into a T3 HUNTER in a 25 06.Tikka Touts that their rifle shoots a 1 in MOA Factory out the box. The question is are they that good.

Yes they are that good. I have one of those in a .308 and a sako a7 in .243. Both shoot under an inch with factory ammo.

Mine is even better than that after I put the action in a B&C Medalist stock. 3/4 MOA with factory Hornady rounds.

No fliers either. Three consecutive shots at a clean target.

This summer I'm gonna work on some reloads for it.

Yes, they are that good. I have the same rifle as what you are looking at. 117gr Hornady BTSP and SST's run under 1" at 100yds. They do well enough that I won't bother to reload for it just yet. Its my absolute favorite deer rifle to shoot

Yes they are nice and shoot very well. I love how smooth the bolt is. I wish I would have never sold mine.

If you have a favorite gun shop, ask them to locate one for you. I got mine from Gander Mountain back in 07 or 08, and they located it at another store and had it shipped. I even got it at the other stores sale price....

Awesome rifle ! Our 243 shoots 5 in a dime on a good day with Hornady BT soft point 100 gr. and a 4x12x40 Nikon Monarc scope.

If I was buying one and not going to ever do anything to it other than change the stock I would choose one over a Remington 700 all day everyday. They are good.

Son bought the T3 in 308 w/ stainless barrel earlier this year and it is a tack driver right out of the box. Was impressed with how smooth the bolt was straight from factory. I was gonna polish it but decided we didn't even need to.
