About 4 or 5 differant loads of each powder type. On the other rifles I have loaded for I pick a bullet, then try different powders till I get a group I can work with and then start playing with seating depth. So far with this rifle I have not even gotten a load I am happy enough with to move to the next step.

In all my work ups, the better groupings come with the seating depth vs the
charge level. That usually only changes the height of the group really.
Have fun find the answer, this is what got me hooked on reloading about 15 years ago.

Yep--seating depth, which determines bullet jump from case to rifling engagement is critical. And, each rifle is different. I had one .243 job that wouldn't shoot unless it was .010" into the lands, not off. Got to watch for excess pressure with that setup though.

Try the Hornady 100-gr Spire Point, flat-base. Always shot better for me than the partitions.
