Why all the doomsday prepping if your a Christian?

My ammunition and firearms aside from property, have out paced my stock returns 2-1! Look at what political foolishness has done to the arms market in the US. Ammunition has outpaced the S&P by a large margin in recent history.

I prep for financial, disaster, and social breakdown. Totally different from biblical.

God helps those who help themselves.

When you go shopping for groceries, do you just buy enough for one meal or do you buy more because you are preparing? Do you drive without a spare tire, or are you preparing to have a flat?

Preparing is relative and God hasn't told me exactly what will happen when.

Guns n' ammo are investments, most of the other stuff is camping related gear, and if you haven't figured out how awesome it can be to raid your disaster food cache late at night when the munchies hit, well, you ain't livin'.

Don't kid yourself. The majority of people in this country haven't spent a whole day at a time without power. If you think roaches won't act up in the dark, look at New Jersey recently. Or New Orleans after Katrina. Power loss for a day or so, no thats not a big deal to many. Power loss for a week isnt a big deal to some. But for the people that live in the city, yea its gonna cause problems.
