Now you have to react. They are gonna win every time. Y'all keep that open carry.
Just because you personally wouldn't choose to carry that way doesn't mean you shouldn't support it.

Anyone who believes in and supports the 2nd amendment should support open carry whether you choose to do or or not.
There is no VALID argument against it that I have seen in this thread like every other OC thread that comes up here, just paranoia and speculation.
Don't want to open carry? GREAT, carry concealed. But to not support it on paranoia and speculation with no basis in fact is ridiculous. That's the liberal mentality: I don't want to do it so nobody else should be able to either.
As to the businesses not wanting open carry in their establishments, great that's their right. There will be provisions in the bill to protect private property owners rights. And as for the person open carrying, untuck your shirt or throw on a cover garment and problem solved. Or you could choose to support another business that is more gun friendly.
I just don't see any downside to OC. There are ways that everyone can win here.

So just grabing a weapon off a person will not be that easy without a fight..

(8)AA"Unconcealed handgun" means a loaded or unloaded
handgun carried upon the person in a shoulder or belt holster with
at least dual points of resistance that is wholly or partially
visible.

Here is the problem with open cary. If you have not been trained in weapon retention and do not have a level II or higher holster you could get into a jam with a determined bad guy. You also make yourself a target for a bad guy to take out first. My department GOs require us to be concealed when off duty(out of uniform). This is to protect us from being a target when we are with our families. That is another consideration for you; does your family know what to do IF you have to take action?
I am not opposed to open carry but I do not consider it a viable tactical option.
