I honestly had decided on Whitehat, but was disappointed that they didn't reply to two separate emails I sent over a 6 day period. I finally called and inquired about ordering multiple (25+) customized holsters and they seemed disinterested, at best. I probably still would have leaned toward WH if not for Chuy's first hand comparison where he said his Crossbreed was a more comfortable holster than his WH. Jacking around trying to decide between WH (and waiting for a response from them) and CB is why I've delayed ordering, but I ultimately decided I can't go wrong with CB, even if I have to wait an extra week or so.

Thanks for the heads up I was researching WH today. My buddy has a CB and loves it, so CB it is.

I'm somewhat nervous. I have a clean record, never gotten a ticket etc, but Others who sent theirs after mine are getting their license.

I am not nervous at all, I have a professional license that would be void if I had anything on my record.
Now if there is some other knot head with my same name that is a not so upstanding citizen it might slow things down

Same here. I have Level II Clarence so getting approved should not be an issue .

Larger counties/cities can take longer. The background checks are sent to the local office.

Took my renewal class yesterday afternoon. Now I have to wait for my passport renewal (6 weeks) to come in before I can upload my CHL renewal paperwork.

Yeah I think I did my app online 2 weeks prior to taking class. So much for that being a faster way to get CHL

I recd mine in the mail yesterday. I sent everything in around 1/15. The background check took 2-3 weeks.

Took my CHL on Jan 21 and checked today and status shows that it has been mailed.
