At work we can't keep .22 lr on the shelf, from what i have got from the people i have talked to....everyone owns at least 1 if not more .22's and the ammo is cheap...i picked up 2,000 rounds for under $35! i know its no .223 or 5.56 but its still a bullet and can still put an animal (or person if needed) done with a good shot.

Because it is cheap and you can carry/store a BUNCH of it.

Those tactical 22's are the shiznit.

I read that law enforcement is starting to use these for training because the ammo is cheaper. I wonder if there's any truth to that?

I got a S&W 15-22 and can't wait to doll her up and plink away.

With all due respect, it doesn't need a TBH thread to start the panic buying when headlines are screaming about what will amount to the most expansive regulations on firearms control since 1968. This does not seem to be a flash in the pan. However, I pray that it is. And we *do* need to remain level headed.

Dont everyone run out and buy 22lr if you dont need it. Stock up when the sky is not falling. Its not fair to the folks that actually need it.
                So, who "needs" it?

Yea I have an poly lower receiver I just finished putting a parts kit in and I'm thinking very seriously about building a designated 22 out of it. Cheap and fun to shoot for sure

.22 ammo will be the new currency after the economy collapses.

This is BS! All this madness, gun control panic, and so n. just making it hard on honest gun owners.
