Biggest caliber you’ve used for hunting?

Just curious what the biggest caliber gun you’ve used to shoot an animal is. Mine will hopefully be a .338 lapua if all goes well next weekend.

    Texas Whitetail Doe
Entered front of Left shoulder exited right armpit.
    Shattered everything.
She dropped like a sack of wet mud.

Processor told me he's going to cut her front half off and throw it away. To much damage to salvage any meat.

Shot a doe at about 75yds with my 375H&H. She ran about 40 yds with a foot wide blood trail.

My Mark V 460 Weatherby has killed deer and hogs by me and many friends brave enough to shoot it.. Bought that gun from Cullem & Boren in Casa View when they were closing the store after Oshman’s bought them out. Got the gun, Weatherby scope and 8 boxes of ammo. It was dirt cheap, nobody wanted that punisher.

300 Magnum on a deer hunt near Tilden Because my friend who took me to his place requested that I use his gun. Every other Deer or Hog that I have shot has been with 270 Win and .243

300 PRC for elk this year. Performed well, the bull went 15 yards and dropped.

Dad bought me a 300 Wby Mag when I was 16. Shot tons of critters with it and never lost an animal, first was a jackrabbit that literally exploded guts in trees and all. Dad didn't believe me so shot another one and it just penciled a little hole through it. These days I go smaller, shot my Elk this year with the 6.5 CM, ran roughly 30 yards.

By bullet diameter it's 35 Whelen, but by case capacity its 300WM/ WSM.

375 H&H will kill pretty much anything you want to shoot on the planet. That being said, I recently bought a 416 Rem that I am excited to shoot.

Wasn’t really hunting, was target shooting at my buddies place shooting his 50 BMG. He had steel on a pipeline out to 1500. A pig decided to cross about 200 yards from me, and my buddy said send it. I put it center of shoulder and well, it wasn’t pretty. Wish I still had a picture.

Single shot bolt action his dad had built him.

I’ve had a couple guns in 375H&H and one in 470 NE, but the largest I’ve killed anything with is 9.3x74r. It’s one of my favorite calibers.
