    Killer Chicken Fry Batter

    Next time you're frying up some backstrap bread it with 50% saltine crackers and 50% all purpose flour. Mix up a couple eggs with a little bit of milk and dip it in before applying the batter. The saltine crackers give an awesome golden brown crust. Below is a picture of some antelope backstrap I cooked last night.

                I do mine the same way, but dredge in flour before the milk.

                      I use self rising flour. Found that it will crisp up and stick better than all purpose flour.

                          That looks great.

                          Try crushed Corn Flakes and cooking in canola oil. The Corn Flakes do not absorb oil, and the canola does not soak into food. Spice the flour as much as you like, then eggs, then the crushed flakes.
