Dad any myself got back in the blinds a little bit ago. I'm really hoping my dad gets a deer this trip!

Also some pics for those asking about the yurts. Would be great for a family camping trip. AC and heater, though they say the AC doesn’t work great in the summer. Also a fridge and microwave. Grill on the fire pit outside and bath house a short walk away.

At least we're eating good!!!! Cooked a lot of food this morning for a late breakfast. Got full and took a little nap. We're going to do burgers tonight.

99 percent sure dad just shot.....waiting on a text to verify and to see what it was.

Edit:

Dad shot at a doe. Said she kicked really hard and ran. I'll head over in a few to look. He's sounding like he's unsure of the outcome but he's generally a good shot. We'll see.

So dad took a pretty hard angled shot. Wasn't an ideal shot but that's the way it happened. Went in the shoulder and out the guts. Deer ran around 65 yards and died. Got the deer all worked up and on ice. Already took a shower and about to eat the heck put of a couple of hamburgers.

This was my dad's first deer in 8 years. He was pretty excited about it. I'm glad he was able to get on one.
