Texas Draw Hunts

Looking for someone to put in for copper breaks waterfowl. It requires two people and it would be Nov or Dec hunts as I am in Arizona in January. It's an e postcard so you have to have the aph permit. Pm if interested. I've never hunted it. It's a hike if you live east of the metromess.

I went a couple years ago for hogs. That place is beautiful.

How was it for hogs? I put in for whitetail there and was looking at a hog hunt also. Not much info out there on the place.

I can live with the life vest but the Pokemon arm thingies are just gonna have to go. I still haven't figured out what a Pokemon is.

Wow, my first secondary draw win! Looks like I'll be visiting James Daughtrey for the first time on a management hunt. First year putting in for it as I've always just applied to the chap. It's almost bitter sweet when you hit and see a decade's worth of points go to zero lol.

I picked up that hunt on a 2nd draw about 3 years ago. We had a blast both taking a doe and hog. My dad missed a very large 6. I watched a deer for the entire hunt that was a brute. He had a large club like 3rd beam and ended up being killed on the last hunt GDE.

I drew Roger Fawcett WMA on the secondary draw. Second secondary draw this year. It is right before my Laguna rifle hunt so will be really hard to pull off though.

No 2nd draws here. My girls had success though on this past round. They drew the Muse WMA Youth A/S hunt.

Anyone that's hunted Daughtrey before, do they allow campers in the primitive camping area?

I've been there three times and never seen one. Camped once, it's pretty tight from what I remember regarding space. Having said that, I don't know the rules. Nice part is they finally built a nice meeting / cleaning area. Concrete floor, lights, water the hole nine.

The past two times, we've stayed in Tilden.
