"OFFICIAL" Granger Hog Hunting Thread

First, welcome. Now, deer hunting Granger is only a pipe dream for most all of us this year. Deer hunting there is draw only with about 60 permits available and probably around 500 applicants. There's no guns allowed there except shot guns with #4 shot or smaller. As far as the draw hunts, most of the drawing deadlines were Sept. 29. There are a few draw hunt drawings still open yet I believe. Check the TPWD draw hunt page.
Second, a couple of us are going to try and stick a pig sunday afternoon. It would be great if you could make it. The old saying, the more the merrier is very true when hunting the bush at Granger.

What time are y'all goin out there Sunday? I drop my boys off at 6 and can head that way then. Y'all will probably be in the bush by then but if we set it up right I might be able to push towards y'all.

Thanks RickyS, sweetl, thanks for all the info and the invite. Let me know where and when, I'm not to familiar with the area but let me know where to meet i'll try to check it out Saturday, I'm scouting and roaming with a bud I shoot dove with out by the dam on Sat in the afternoon.
