Congrats Randy! Nice lil piggy you got there.
Jim I think we scared away the piggies on the big P.
We had gotten split up after I was stalking that dang rabbit that broke my arrow... So, we hooked back up and we were talking about what we are going to do next. That's when we saw three jump up out of the thickets about 50 yards away and took off. Some people know them as d*** slappers... Tried tracking a lil brown one, but no such luck thru the DSs.
Has anyone tried hunting Lake Waco by any chance? I am thinking about some new scenery...

Hunted east of gate 6 starting around 4:30 pm Sunday. Was not expecting much as the weather was too nice. Nothing seen except lots of black vultures. Rain last night did allow me to move relatively silently. Just about sundown I headed back to gate 7, I was going to throw a fishing lure for a bit off the boat launch ramp. As I passed upper parking area, a hog, I figure about 110 lbs, ran across the road about 40 yards in front of me. Solid black hog was running west to east, and had its Nikes on.
On the way home I passed 'the steps' gate. Stopped to chat with a guy and his boy. They had limited out on the white bass.
