Last week I took the kids out to the Cross Timbers trail for a short hike. Someone had killed a big hog and left him wrapped in a tarp in the parking lot. I know it wasn't anyone on the GS, but this stuff will ruin it for everyone. Disgusted.

(I was glad it was just a hog wrapped in that fly-covered tarp. Rather unpleasant imagining what else it might have been.)

I plan to hog hunt soon. Got my boat finished and I will be going up the creek in the afternoon and camping, hunting, and fishing doing a weekend trip prob once a month. At least thats the plan.

I went last Monday, great day to be out. I saw two does, but no hogs.

Deer season can not get here sooner. Need to get the bow tuned and started shooting.

Was out there yesterday. Good early growth on multiple bucks. Lots of hogs.

Stopped by the office today, got my general permit and draw number for deer season. Was out hog hunting last night, right when I decided to come out fo the tree two mature and three babys came in but unfortunately I started wrapping it up 10 minutes too early and they caught me. Plan on heading back out next week with my brother so he can help me drag one back. Anyone know of a good processor that that take their pigs to around the keller, justin..area?

Syracuse's would be my choice for off season hogs.

thank you sir. Firgured I would take my first there and see how it taste, then if I get frisky I would try my own and compare.
