Just talked to them. He said no personal hunting property cannot be left out there for more than 24 hours.

You and me both! I darn near considered just hunting under the tree you were sitting it. That walk from your stand to mine was a long one, all alone in the dark! LOL

Agreed, Everyone knows that atv's are to small. You have to use your 4 X 4 Toyota to get back there.
I saw on the news where they were doing aerial spaying last night over the hunting area. I can't remember if they said it was part of the West Nile control efforts or more nuclear waste water to make the mosquitoes even bigger.

I love rain, but the recent ones are going to make opening weekend out there a bloodletting! Mosquitos have been almost non-existent the last few trips out to my lease that backs up to the Vine. The standing water is going to kickstart the new crop of bloodsuckers just in time for bow season.

I'll have my ThermaCell cranked up. It's the walk in and out that scares me. We dove hunted Grapevine last season, and our backs would be covered by hundreds of them on the way in and out. It made some grown men scream! After that, we started taking the four wheelers out. They can't eat what they can't catch!

Bass pro shop front page, ThermaCell with holster $24.99. Price good until Sept. 3. You won't find them any cheaper.
Larry I haven't had problems with them on my back, if I have my unit fired up walking in. I think the chemical swirls around me, like oil smoke behind an old Chevy van. Maybe you walk too fast. But I do agree that they have been non existent on every walk I've been on soo far.
