I saw a genuine P&Y squirrel out there TG.

Have you been illegally transporting them from Whitney?

I saw you had some pretty close encounters with em out there last year...

Nothing illegal about it. I did several years ago in hopes the genetics would increase the size and ferocity of the common red fox that are there. It was a pain getting those cunning overgrown man killers in a cage. Then setting them free with out them turning to attack ! I'd rather be in a hog wallow with corn all over me than do go through that again !

Yall be careful out there. Those rascals will have you laid out on the ground and half eat-n before ya know it !

Here's a few of my most prized mounts. I've got plenty more but will save yall the visual agony of such evil beings.

I almost lost one leg and bled to death from this rascal. It was by grace I survived! Notice the blood on the corner of his mouth, my blood !

And this sucker came at me when I was walking in before day light with my light off so as not to spook the game. Flew right in on my back. Thank goodness I had a pack on or he would have eat-n right into my spinal cord!

This one came down to purely hand to paw combat in the end. We both had fired over 1K rounds before we both ran out of ammo, and charged each other head on. That was a mistake on my part as I forgot my teeth weren't as big as his . I nearly got scalped and then had my throat bit open. But I got him in the end with my trusty S.O.G. Dagget II!

And this one is my most highly prized possession of all! It was the most horrific and deadly match I have ever encountered. And pretty self explanatory.

We need to get you out into the woods more, Mike. You're starting to lose your mind.

I've been hearing that a lot more lately . And with what I do at work, I've got a lot of time to think . So I've been thinking about it a lot lately. And I think I'll write and analogy on my findings soon . Maybe do it this weekend or next week, since I'm off all week next week . Look for my publishing here on TBH on my findings Larry .

I spent my last vacation day of the year (before I lost it to blackout days all month in Dec) to go hunt out there on a nice cold morning. I had one nice doe come in 20 minutes before first shooting light but she didn't stick around to party. Then about 7:20 i had a little spike come in that i really didn't want to shoot because he looked like a yearling, but he made the decision easy since the only shot he gave me was at his arse end at 40 yards.
I headed out about 8:45 and went crappie fishing. That was much more productive.

Went to shoot in my buddy's backyard today. Field points grouped fine. When I shot the broadhead though, it hit 4 inches left.

I know my arrow spine didnt magically change so i started looking at my rest. Well I hadnt noticed it... but the moleskin that I had used to replace the felt on my QAD had lost some of its glue when it got wet back in october. Apparently when I was coming to full draw, it would fold over slightly. I pulled it off and tried shooting again -- no problem.

Anyone else ever had that issue? Kinda weird that it wasnt effecting my field points... but it seems to have fixed itself. Just crazy that I got lucky on my deer. Its been worrying me that I made that bad of a shot on an animal, but at least now i know why.

It happens K86. Good eye. You were very diligent in your effort to find the fix. I was about to suggest you moving your rest 1/32" .

Had an interesting eve yesterday, got set @ 3:15 well around 4 i see what i thought was another hunter and he dissapeared. 10 min later i see him again and can tell he's on a bike so i cough loud and he comes my way, i ask if he's a ranger or gw - no response, then he goes thru the woods 100 yds, stops then comes back and i ask what the h*ll he's doing - no response, i then tell him i'm calling the gw for harrasment and he slowly leaves. I was fuming mad at this point. Did end up having 15 pigs come close later on but no shot and met 1 of the gw's at the gate coming out. Cody was his name, very nice guy.

I've had mine do that, just replaced it with some new stuff and that took care of it, the new felt seemed to stick better than the stuff that came with my qad

I'm shooting 2 blade bloodrunners. I've been lucky enough to get field point accuracy out of them without having to do much tuning.
