Made the first of my deposits today for the upcoming draws. Not sitting on many points in any category but still keeping hopes high. After this round I’ll reassess where I’m at going into the next round.

I have a question for the collective. Does anyone know if enchanted and Pedernales falls sp cancelled hunts last year? If so Was it due to the fires?

Good question, I did notice on the recently posted harvest data from last season that ER was missing from several categories. I didn't notice Pedernales Falls.

I was going to use my 20 GDE for the Kerr this year but not now that it's epostcard and requires you purchase the $48 license also. I'm passing. WTH? I see TWPD going this route with other more popular places to generate more $$$. The Kerr still list Management Deer in the normal $3 entry ??

Despite all the scouting info- I put in for the Chap hoping a wet Spring might be the deciding factor to change it around this year

Yeah. If I do get drawn I probably wasted my 39 ppt on the chap but who knows if I’ll even be around for 40. I thought about putting in for another Gde but figured why change now even though chap ain’t what it use to be. The poor drought conditions and the over harvest of non mature deer. I wish they would put a trophy fee there if you killed a buck a $500 fee would be charged.

They haven't been in about 4 Years. They had a disease issue Antrax or CWD something. Or Kickapoo staff is the issue(?) Nice scenery and I would like to go back.

When I got drawn for Archery Deer about five years ago, the roads in and out were flooded for two days. A flood now would be welcome.

Well, no longer pending on alligator. Next! Anyone here know if they allow bowhunting on any of the Big Time TX Hunts? I know they don't for bighorn sheep but don't know about any of the others.
