Drew the Aransas bow and 2nd rifle permits. Didn’t pay for the bow as I had a conflict with those dates. I’ve also been on several second draw opportunities but struck out.

I got drawn for two hunts this year. One out of state and one though TPWD. If I don't buy the permit by the deadline for TPWD will I lose my points or does it go to 2nd draw?

Both, you lose your points and if the location does 2nd draws, someone will get your tag in the 2nd draw.

Good. Means my second draw has some possibility. I've been pretty lucky on second draw over the years. I think I've gotten 3 or 4. One more would be good since I haven't drawn anything this year. Good luck.

They draw way too late into the season. It’s ridiculous.

I got 2nd draw for muzzleloader at The Hirsch unit. I did the archery this year there as well. Didn't see many deer but there were hogs aplenty.
