I got drawn for this hunt as well. Hopefully we'll have a couple of TBHer's there on the same dates.

Looking forward to the beautiful Hill Country sceenery from the bow blind.

No dice here either, looks like alot of us thought the same thing.

Well, I only applied to it because that was the only one I could go to without missin work and I'm savin my vacation time for Ks. But I didn't get drawn either and I had 4 points going in!!!
But hey, think I will still go as a stand-by. Not but about an hour or so from me.

ok i amost went crazy in my car thinking i got drawn since i had no preference points, then i called for the next hour trying to get details and see if it had got drawn yet

I'm pretty sure they drew the pronghorn hunt. My preference points increased.

It is a great state we live in:
Forest service land
WMA
TPWD Draw hunts
corp property
I have spots avalable to hunt in 5 counties within a 1 hour drive and only have a small $300 per year lease in one of them.

It is a privlage and not a right to hunt public land, sure glad I have the privlage to live in Texas!

Well, I'm out on the Archery hunt. But I still plan on going to Big Lake Bottom as a stand-by if there are any spots open. If anybody wants to join me, send me a PM. I have a 4 whlr and ready to roll!!!

I got drawn for Gus Engeling. Last year my brother shot a huge 6pt and I killed a doe. It was a good hunt although some jackwagon that we got paired with totally tried to walk the entire place and pushed a bunch of deer around in the first hour of the hunt. We reported him and didn't see him again. Think he got kicked of for crossing boundaries. This will be the 3rd time I have gotten drawn. Anyone hunt any of the middle pastures?

I drew there too for the first hunt period....BUT I also drew the first hunt period at Black Gap for mulies, so I will be going to BG. I did hunt GE 2 years ago. Very nice place. I hunted the NW part of unit 15.
