I wanted to get out but I decided to take a break this weekend. I might sneak out wednesday evening.

There were alot of deer around me but nothing worth shooting in range. Had a nice on at about 80 out but that was a close as he got.

Not yet. He'd be a dang good duck dog though. If there is a duck out there that looks like a red Kong frisbee then he's ready now, lol.

I've got a yeller one named Pickles.

Seriously, I do have a yeller one that is white named Pickles. Just ask a few on here . This is her 4th season and she will be 4 in January. Another self trained retrieving gun dog. Here's a couple of pics from last January while guiding.

It isnt from lack of trying. I have seen more deer in a month than I have seen in the last 3 seasons out there. Something will eventually slip up.
