It's a draw hunt, almost every public land deer hunt in texas is, you have to put in a $25 non refundable application before season starts and cross your fingers

Back home now. Had small buck come up but never noticed me. I think he knows I need to take a doe or spike first.

As far as game carts, this is the best I've found. It balances well, and you can pull it with couple of fingers when loaded. The angled wheels allow you to run over rocks or uneven ground without it tipping over.

I'm out, but wish I had a hoody. Just wearing a thin wool shirt and pretty cold. Forgot what it's like I guess. But have no fear....thermacell is a great hand warmer in a pinch. But man, I think I may move, very quiet here. Hope y'all enjoying the eeather
