It's hard to tell from a forward pic like that. If he's 3.5 I'd pass. It also depends on what other bucks you have. If he's 4.5 and you have better bucks then I say shoot him.

I had a buck out here the past couple years exactly like that, he had a notch out of his ear from fighting or something and a scar on his hip, this year he is a main frame ten point with 2 kickers and about 18" wide with great mass. This late bloomers get shot all the time for being culls but in my opinion culls are much fewer than we really think. I had a good 8 point for two years, then he got an infection on his leg, maybe a snake bite or something, and he turned into a trashy set of horns only about 7 small points on it. Now this year he is proud 10 point with a really girthy set of horns.

You must have missed the last no brow thread. According to them he will be a 160+ in the next couple years. I say shoot him now!

I look more at the frame a deer has that the brows and this deer gas a good frame
