    Makes sense on the humidity. Plus back then you didn't feed your deer like we and everyone does now. Not very good browse in Bastrop County. Plus we put Desert Mule deer in the lost pines(lol). Maybe we needed the Rocky Mountain variety. It was a good try.

        Definitely a mule deer I saw one on buffalo mountain ranch south of Abilene about 6 years ago !

          Mule deer and he is a few hundred mile east of where he belongs.
