That looks like chicory to me. There are a few wild varieties that grow here in Texas.

Looks like a deer took a bite out of some johnson grass.

its pretty fun to be able to walk around an area that only deer have access to, and check out what all greenery they eat on.

Sitting over the plot this morning for the first time this season. One big doe in the plot eating like a cow!

Good news too, the yearling we freed made it. SHe limping around the outside, while momma gets her fill.




I had two big boars come in early. They waded through the water, up to the hog panels. Once they realized it was invitation only, they left the way they came. Too dark to shoot unfortunately.

How many pounds of seed per acre did you use. How many pounds of fertilizer did u use per acre. Looks graat

100lbs bob oats
1lb purple top turnips
5lbs durana clover
300lbs 13-13-13 once it got established.
