I love mine. Don't get me wrong. The only one thing that I dislike about it is if I decide to draw back down, rest will go down. That pose problem when hunting. Mine doesn't hit shelf, either. Easy to set up for me, too. Just wish the rest would stay up, if I ever need to draw down. That's minuscule compare to what I've read from others on here. My accuracy is pretty good with it. Have no complains.

I never said it was junk or anything like that. Said it wasn't for me and that's it. My budd Mudslinger loves his as well do a lot of other folks.

Yeah. That's what I like. I had that on my first and new to me from pawn shop, Bear The Truth when I started out bowhunting in 2011, I was so used to that until I got Ripcord on my new bow, I was like what the hay!? Didn't like it. Lol. Oh well...
Ripcord is a good brand. It is not one size fit for all everyone.

The Ripcord and the QAD are both made to be manually put in the up position before the bow is drawn. If you pull the string to raise the rest, the brake that keeps the launcher from bouncing up and hitting the arrow during launch has to be overcome. This is why the arrow will sometimes bounce up if the bow is drawn with the rest in the down position.
I set them both up everyday, and it takes longer to tie the release cable into the bow cable than it does to "Time" the rest.
The Pro V is supper simple to set up also. It is also a bullet proof rest. The Pro V holds the arrow for a longer time, supposedly letting the arrow stabilize before it is released. From what I have seen in supper slow motion video, until the arrow is out of the bow and off of the string, there isn't a lot of stabilization. In my OPINION, the longer an arrow is supported by a rest, the more hand torque or poor form can influence the arrow flight. I have shot a Pro V and liked it. I have a QAD and several Ripcords that have been on bows for years with no problems.
The main points in this thread are all valid. The best way to find the best rest for each individual is to shoot them, then make up your mind which you like.
