    Ripcord Code Red

    I. Don't. Like. It!!!! Brand new. $85 tyd if anyone wants it.

Now that's outta the my Pro V will be back on ASAP. I've now owned this along with tbe qad. I don't get the love for these rests. I know we all have different tastes but if some of you fellas would try a Pro V I bet 60 plus percent would switch. Not bashing these rests per say. I just owned both and in my opinion can't touch a pro v. I will say this. I will shoot a Keep Special before I ever shoot a QAD or Ripcord. It's just my style folks. I understand my style may not work for you.

What do you not like about it. I haven't had trouble with mine. Am I missing something?

Don't care for how it works compared to the Pro V.

There are very few rest on their market as efficient as they pro v as when it comes to arrow stabilization and support. And anything cable driven isn't no where near as efficient as a limb driven rest. No cable driven will set up as quick as a pro v. And in my experience tune as quick either.

I don't like mine, either. Only one reason. I'm surprised you don't like qad. I think they're good. Gonna have to look at Pro V.

And I look at it this way too fergeris. Anything you have to time can come out of time. Some timed rest are very picky on there sweet spot. Some like only 2 inches of arrow support some can deal with 4 inches. If you get a pro v you get 70 percent more support. I get over 16 inches of arrow support during their shot cycle

I'm with you guys on the simplicity of the LD, but it really wasn't that hard for me to get my code red timed perfectly when I put it on my chill. In fact, I did everything on my chill tuned perfectly in 30 minutes at home... The rest isn't that much of an issue for me, but then again, it may have been beginners luck

The only reason I haven't broken down and gotten the LD is that my code red still works after 5 years of having it.

I have a code red on my new bow and I don't really like it. It seems to jump up some times while I draw the bow, is this the eras or my set up?

Searched the pro v, is this loaded by cable string?
