Some like only 2 inches of arrow support some can deal with 4 inches. If you get a pro v you get 70 percent more support. I get over 16 inches of arrow support during their shot cycle
16"? Must be where the extra noise comes from

I am not saying it's hard to tune a rip cord or qad. To me it's easier to set up a pro v. Pro v is limb driven not cable driven.

Ain't no louder than a qad launcher arm slapping the shelf! Lol

same reasons I got a limb driver from day one, just looking at the different engeneering approaches to drop aways, the virtue of the arrow staying on the rest longer gives me extra confidence.

Ripcord SOS and Pro V would make a better comparison since there both limb driven, I have shoot Hamskea, Smack down pro and recently a SOS and it IMO is every bit as good as the others. Never tried the code Red.

x2 haha. I like all the rest listed in this topic, but I can install a QAD in about 15 min. Yes I know a ProV is a faster set up, but yall act like it takes 4 days to set up a QAD. And as for arrow time on rest, I can say that my 3D accuracy and hunting accuracy is way better than I could hope for with a QAD. But before yall bash, I would sell anyone of these rests, because they all work very well.

Hmmm mine doesn't hit the shelf and is definitely quieter.. I like them both accuracy wise but preferred the little noise reduction I noticed.

I agree jon they are easy to set up I am just saying a pro v is faster. I think it's super hard to compare these rest because no matter how much I don't care for cable driven a qad is a proven rest or they wouldn't sell. These rest in this topic are all cream of the crop in all reality. And I just prefer the pro v. I just gave some info on the pro v because someone asked.

I had one on my Strother and NEVER had a problem with it. As a matter of fact, it is still in good use by Michael's daughter, Mo.

Guess it's a hit or miss.

My QAD was a hit. Dialed-in. Won't change it until it fails/breaks. Good luck to ya. There are many options.
