I was at a 3D shoot that Nocked and Loaded puts on, great shoot for sure, was with a few of the local fellas and drew my Assasin back and the cheap plastic slide they put on BOWTECH exploded, good thing I could have gotten really injured any way, Took it to Arron at N&L and he got me all squared away with a good teflon slide, shoots better and safer now for sure. Get it replaced immediately if you get an Assasin and I love me some BOWTECH.

I have a Diamond Stud and have noticed a couple of times lately that when I draw it is sometimes harder to draw at the beginning of the draw. Could that be the cable slide causing that problem? It has the stock plastic slide. One year old. Also, is it recommended to lubricate it somehow? i.e. teflon spray. I wander if I got wax on the slide and that is causing some friction. Hmm...
