great pics (and work too) thanks. I have done a few knife sheathes before, but nothing this large a scale. I am gonna try and step it up and try to attempt one.
Also, I have "formed" a sheath, by heating up the leather and brushing it with melted wax. It turned out ok, but I really didn't know what I was doing (shooting blindfolded). Is there a particular kind of wax that is specific for this job? Keep in mind I was a teenager and I culled out one of mom's half-burned, vinilla scented candles. I'm almost certain this was the wrong kind and like I said, it turned out ok, but at least it didn't smell like a boquet of flowers!
