great pics (and work too) thanks. I have done a few knife sheathes before, but nothing this large a scale. I am gonna try and step it up and try to attempt one.

Also, I have "formed" a sheath, by heating up the leather and brushing it with melted wax. It turned out ok, but I really didn't know what I was doing (shooting blindfolded). Is there a particular kind of wax that is specific for this job? Keep in mind I was a teenager and I culled out one of mom's half-burned, vinilla scented candles. I'm almost certain this was the wrong kind and like I said, it turned out ok, but at least it didn't smell like a boquet of flowers!

    Again, thanks for the thread.

Head I believe what you want to use is bees wax. and it is better to dip the leather in the wax I will look into it for you have have done a ew things like that but can not remember the step by step

Ok so from what I gather every one want to know how to wet form. For this I am not going to start on a holster I am thinking of a something basic to try and something that we can all use. First you will need a piece o antler I suggest the main beam point. I may open a new thread for that depending. The reason i do not want to start on somthing very complex it is realy easy to screw up a large piece of leather wet forming to a gun. If you do like this holster it will be for sell in the classifieds as soon as I am done with it
