Have an updated in a while. Kind of glad that deer season's over to give me a chance to recover from all the processing. Finally got all the sausage and jerky made. Got all the bacon and hams cured smoked in packaged. Got some new chickens coming next week. Putting together our little brooder set up and working on a smaller chicken coop for this new mini flock.

I love these hoop coops. They're kind of fun to build and don't require a lot of carpentry skills.. right up my alley.

Our main one has three cattle panels this one only has two. I will be putting the nesting boxes on the outside inside that frame in the back. Tried to use all scrap lumber but ended up having to go buy some 2x4s. I skimped and didn't get treated this time and will probably regret it in a few years. But I've got a bunch of extra outdoor paint that I'm going to slap on there before I put it out. Nice to build inside the shop instead of outside on the ground.

Did my first little welding project with the ArcCaptain 200 welder. I probably should wear a hard hat when I walk underneath it. So far so good. Just got to figure out where I'm going to put my compressor and run some lines to that hose reel. 😁

      Pics out of order....

Finally sold enough chicken eggs to replace the bridge that the flood "relocated". I should have done this in the first place.

At current egg prices you could afford TXDOT to come out and engineer you a bridge!

I can see how crossing that in a Mule might be a little hairy!

While I always can appreciate a good little welding project. You could probably through a u-bolt over/around that pipe then into plate and skip the hard hat.

How do you like that hose reel. I got one as a gift, can't remember the brand that can't roll itself up. Tinkered with it, increased spring tension, etc. to no avail. Now it just sits in the box.

So far the hose reel is working out great. I'm constantly airing up leaky tires on the tractor mule and other vehicles. Also I'm pretty messy so I use the air to blow out the shop.
