Hey Mike! Long time no talk!. House is getting pretty close. Waiting on some electrical and painting finish work, hardware on the cabinets and drawers, polish/stain the concrete floors, then some outside work with drainage, rock, landscaping. Maybe early/mid september for completion...but nothing ever on time out here in the middle of the sticks!

You can put lipstick on them and they will still smell the same.

Your new home progress looks like it’s getting into the home stretch with the finishing touches going in. I know y’all are anxious I am sure congratulations.
Good luck on raising your pigs/new meat source. I do think you will notice a better quality & taste than those every day rooters we kill. Did you get just sows or are you going to get the experience of “cutting” them also?

Hoggslayer....I reckon they will have to have a wallow in this heat. Unless I go out and spray them on a regular basis? First time to have pigs so not sure. I'm hoping to time it where I butcher them around february.

Got this project completed (except for some fine tuning with feed/water/shelter). Red Wattle hogs will be ready to pick up on August 26th.
