put the race mufflers on this weekend they are the shortest I could find.

        3.62'' long

        3'' in and out

also put the aluminum piece back on the tailgate... right now the blazer is 60 miles from my house I don't get a chance to work on it as often as I would like to.

What's really cool about K5s is that an El Camino body will bolt right up!

didn't know that.. I use to give a guy at work crap about his bright yellow El Camino that was lifted on 35's

Last week I put new brake shoes and new wheel cylinders on the blazer. I also removed the factory navy blue paint that was on the grill. I could see chrome under the paint and stripped it down to all chrome.

I made an outlaw run in the blazer around the neighborhood it was the first time I had driven it since I bought it in April. I came back and adjusted the timing a little.

It felt good getting to drive it for the first time. I was so happy I had to sit on my hands to keep from waving at everybody.
