      Tan blazer
      New fuel filters
      New MSD cap and rotor
      New temperature sensor
      New starter
      Two new tires
New energy suspension poly bushings on the sway bar
      New Rancho steering stabilizer
New Rancho shocks front and rear
      new flowmaster 40's

Waiting for the diy4x motor mounts to be delivered so I can change those and put on a poly transmission mount.

Also have to replace the front pinion seal it's leaking.

All the Rancho stuff and sway bar bushings got put on because my wife drove it to work during the snow we got. And said she could not talk on the phone or text because she had to hold the steering wheel with both hands.

      Blue blazer

      New oil sending unit
      New head light dimmer switch

hope to buy some new super swamper sx in 35x15.5x15 to put on the 17'' wide rims. when my AKC Bullmastiff has her puppies... due any day now

                    I bought another blazer

1978 k5 blazer it has a 350 with 350 trans and 205 transfer case, 4'' lift with a 3'' body life. 38.5-15-15 Boggers and a 10,000lbs winch. and it has both drive shafts replaced with some custom built by Arklatex drive shaft out of Texarkana. Dana 44 front 12bolt rear not sure on the gear ratio yet I have to take the cover off and look.

I think my favorite thing on the blazer is the custom console. they used a Coleman ice chest that has the 4 cup holders on it and ran a drain hose from the drain down by the 4x4 shifter in the floor.

I tried to buy this blazer 3 years ago from the owner he was asking $4500 I took $3500 cash. He told me that was not enough to buy the blazer. Said he had that almost in the rims and tires he just put on the blazer. Well fast forward to April of this year he calls me out of the blue and asked if I wanted to buy it still?
Then he tells me the price $1000 my first question was does it still have the drive train. Did the motor blow up or the transmission go out? What is the deal he said just come look at it again and he would show me what he had going on with the blazer.
Well he was about to pull the 350 and put in a 454 out of his race boat. He had taken 4 bolts off the transmission and the 4 nuts off the carb and set them on the tool box on his truck then his wife drove the truck to town lost the bolts and nuts. Ok not a big deal can get those at any parts store. Next he said when taking the exhaust flange loose he broke a couple of the studs off. I asked is that it he said the wiring had burnt up from the starter to the ignition switch and it would not start. And he got tired of working on stuff around his farm and tired of looking at the blazer.

Now this past Thursday 5/28/15 I got my neighbor that owns a wrecker service to go pick it up on his rollback for me. I worked on it Friday and got it running it took half the day. I took the starter off and had it tested to make sure I was starting with a good part. Then climbed in the engine bay and took all the old tape off the wiring harness. And looked at all the wires none were burnt that I could see. But just to be sure I ran new 10ga wire for both wires coming off the starter. Back to the fire wall on one and then spliced into the other one as close to where ever that went. I also put on a new positive battery cable to the starter just to rule that out also, that wire was missing the connecter. Did all that tried to start it nothing not even the lights would turn on. I checked the ignition wire that was hooked up on the wire wall I think that’s what it was. And I gave it a tug and the plastic stretched about 3’’ broken wire. Cut that out and reattached. And it started right up no problem now I just have to fix the broken studs on the exhaust flange.

I am doing a blazer build right now and I was curious if you knew what brand your front bumper is on your camo blazer?
