Finally finished this project and just have to re-finish the stock since I didn't use enough tape and made a mess.

All I have to say is wow. Had a three shot group at 2" with factory ammo. Re-crowned barrel and used this method to bed it and had same ammo at 3/4", just a regular federal fusion round. I'm sure my reloads will stack. Great method and thanks for advice on the way.

Used JB weld, found a big pack for $17.99 at autozone that does 2 guns. This is my best one yet, but all have worked, this just looks the best. Thanks for fueling my addiction on gun tweaking. Weatherby vanguard s2 25-06.
