              That's cool. If you are taking suggestions, what about making the bar longer so the fixings could be on one side and on the other make it a cutting board? Then you wouldn't have to walk around the pit.

                  I think the suggestion Dusty is making is to extend the outermost boards of the tabletop to the back of the pit. Then, you'd have a cutting surface on one side and a "fixins" area on the other side. But I could be very, very wrong.

                              You are exactly right, Ouch. That's what I'm saying. If not, Outcast, you might want to add a rail or something to keep people from bumping into the hot pit.... just a thought.
