    Global warming

A very long time ago I asked pretty much this same question. The main evidence presented was the growing hole in the ozone layer. I think that reason has gone away.

If you believe in global warming/climate change can you give us some logical reasons why you believe?

    I have a zillion questions.
    1. Have the oceans risen over the last 50 years? How much?
    2. If people didn't have TV/media would anyone ever notice or even think up this climate change stuff?
    3. In our lifetime will we ever notice a difference?
    4. If Earth has gone through ice ages and heat waves several times before man, what caused the climate changes back then?
    5. If Earth goes through these changes without man, why would what we do stop the next climate change?

If you hate this topic please back out! Ask more questions but lets hear some answers before cluttering and de-railing this thread please.

No comments if you don't believe in climate change unless you have a legit question.

Good topic for discussion and hopefully it will stay civil.

I grew up during the “we are all going to die due to the hole in the ozone layer”. Back then CNN was starting out and an actual journalist agency.

Question #1 Was humanity the sole cause of the hole in ozone layer?

My belief is that some of the substances being used were in fact contributing to the its development. No I don’t believe it was all man made but we did contribute to it.

Question # 2 Can humanity wipe out large portions of natural habitat?

My belief is that we can. I don’t believe we all need to eat grass and just cover up with a loincloth. However, I believe we need to help protect nature with sensible regulations.

Best summation I have come across. I also recently learned that one of the hominid site discoveries in the UK that dates back 500k years also contained Lion, Rhino, and Hyena bones. Let that sink in.

Why would that be surprising to have those animals around back then?

If you believe in the Bible, God made those animals on day 5 of the Earths existence.

And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.

        GENISIS:
24 And God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind.” And it was so. 25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

I believe in priorities and Liberal democrats are a far greater threat to humanity/man kind than any level of global warming will ever be..

If you want to see something interesting look at Plymouth Rock- Still there still partially submerged- I have nothing scientific to base this on but historically there have been cooling trends and warming trends and feel we will continue to have these trends

Why would it be surprising to find Rhinos and Lions in London? I have nothing.

Well there’s been elephants in East Texas so anything’s possible.

Not true, I heard that some Centerville redneck single-handedly hunted them to extinction back in 2019 😂

Now that we're in PACE this is what brought the topic up.

I'm curious if he's that stupid or if Gates paid him.
