Lot a strange things out there in them woods. Any old Vietnam vets will remember the F.U. birds that would call to each other late in the evenings. Well it turned out these weren't birds at all. I was on OP one night and just before dark me and my watch partner heard one right above us on a tree we were backed up against. Looked up and saw a 6 ft long monitor lizard hanging on the trunk and doing the calling. Who would have thought a lizard would make that loud of noise?

Definitely explainable and you just did. In a relatively short period of time, you figured out the mystery. There have been wackos claiming Bigfoot is real without a single piece of evidence over centuries.

We thought they was birds for a long time. Kinda spooky when you out on ambush patrol late at night. And them big monitor lizards is good eatin. Kinda like frog legs and gator all in one.

Perhaps you should have collected said rocks. Maybe ole squatchy likes to throw spit balls and you would have had his DNA. You could have had the very first credible evidence of ol squatch and you blew it. So here we sit with still zero credible evidence
